To complete the application process, prepare the following items:
- Official transcripts of all college and university work

Applicants must request official transcripts from each institution attended or from a transcript service.

The Kinesiology Department and Sport Management program can review unofficial transcripts directly from students for advising purposes only.

- A formal Statement of Goals: A Statement of Goals should explain, at the graduate level, in at least 500 words why the Applicant wants to be admitted into the program and how this degree supports his/her career goals.
- A current resume or curriculum vitae
- Two Recommendations from individuals who can speak to the applicant's academic potential and professional capabilities

One should be from a university faculty member who is familiar with the applicant's academic abilities.

One should come from a supervisor who has evaluated the applicant's current or prior work.

Applicant will be prompted to enter the name and email of each person from whom a recommendation is requested during the application process. The system automatically generates an email to each recommender requesting they complete and submit a Recommendation. Once the Recommendation Form is submitted, it becomes part of the electronic application packet.

If you started the application process prior to October 16, 2019, you will need to reapply through the online application process via CMU Admissions.
